Abstract

This study examined whether hope agency and/or hope pathways may serve as mediators between trauma exposure and negative affective conditions (viz., anxious symptoms, depressive symptoms, PTSD symptoms, suicidal behaviors) in a sample of 533 college students. Mediation analyses indicated that hope agency, but not hope pathways, mediated the relationships.
