Managing Intergroup Negativity: An Integration of Multiple Perspectives

Thursday, March 7, 2019 · Paris, France

Political Psychology

How is intergroup negativity managed? Four exciting projects examine how individuals in conflict manage their emotions, cognitions, and actions. The four presenters approach this question from multiple perspectives—the perceiver’s (Pliskin and Cikara), the target’s (van der Toorn), and the bystander’s (Kutlaca)—offering a more complex view of intergroup conflict.
