Thoughtful Sequencing: Relating Topics in Introductory Psychology to the New College Student

Most introductory psychology texts commonly order psychological topics similarly. Usually texts cover an overview of history/methods, neuroscience, and then move on into experimental and clinical topics. I propose that the sequence of topics covered in introductory psychology be changed to first cover material most relevant to new undergraduates in college.
