Child Temperament As a Predictor of Trajectories of the Quality of Student-Teacher Relationships

This study examined the predictive role of three factors of temperament in the evolution of the quality of student-teacher relationships in a sample of elementary school children over a 6-year period. Overall, the study showed that temperament is a useful construct in understanding differences in the quality of teacher-child relations.
