Student Understanding of Social Inequality before/after Class on Social Inequality.

Abstract
Seventy-six students were surveyed about their understanding of social inequality. Students gained in their understanding of social inequality over the course of the semester. This pattern was significant, regardless of course or key student demographics. Students with more personal privilege had the strongest growth in their understanding of social inequality.
