The Impact of Inclusive Testing Practices on Student Performance

Abstract

Stereotype threat can negatively impact the performance of diverse students. This study investigates the effectiveness of inclusive testing practices in reducing the impact of stereotype threat on performance in an Introductory Psychology course. The benefits of using diverse names in test questions and promoting anonymous grading practices will be investigated.
