Abstract

First year psychology students were trained to evaluate sample test responses in an online practice-grading task. Students’ accuracy in assessing the responses predicted their performance on a subsequent lab test. Although, the grading exercise seemed to improve students’ ability to answer related questions, learning did not generalize to unrelated questions.
