Abstract

Deciphering the interplay between semantics and prosody of emotional speech is crucial for successful social interactions. Individuals with ADHD have difficulties in identifying emotions in speech. Our results suggest a possible source for these difficulties -- the different weights adults with ADHD assign to the different speech channels.
