Abstract
The Conversation Compass© Communication Screener (CCCS-R) assesses children’s conversation skills in the classroom. It has a 4-factor solution: Preademic language, Social Communication, Negative Communication, and Narrative and Vocabulary Skills. It shows convergent and predictive validity with the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals—Preschool (CELF-P) Descriptive Pragmatics Profiles and Pre-Literacy Scale, respectively.
