Third Time’s a Charm: Performance Improves on “Three-Peat,” but Not Repeat Exam Questions
- John Pennington

Abstract
Students’ performance on Social Psychology questions repeated from previous exams depended on repetition frequency. Mastery of material tested twice (i.e., across 2 different exams) did not improve. In contrast, significant comprehension improvements were observed across a range of challenging, core concepts tested 3 times over a 4-month interval.
