The Development of a Preference for the Human Global Motion Configuration in Infancy

Abstract
There is an early distinctive sensitivity to the motion of living beings or biological motion: using a preferential looking paradigm, we found that a preference for the human global motion configuration emerges at 3 months; however this preference declined at 5 months – this result was replicated in two experiments.
