Abstract

A community sample of 1055 mothers and children 3.4(1) years old were thoroughly assessed for picky eating (PE). Subsequently 227 children, half PEs at baseline, were followed twice at ¬26 month intervals. Results show the contribution of maternal practices and of child characteristics to the persistence of PE.
