Increasing Student Civic Engagement in a General Psychology/History Learning Community

Abstract
One hundred eighty-seven freshmen who were enrolled in a General Psychology/History civic engagement learning community completed the CIRCLE Civic Engagement Quiz twice. Civic, political, and electoral activities increased significantly from time 1 to time 2. Voter registration also significantly increased over time. Implications of these findings will be addressed.
