Abstract

This study investigated if there is a general individual tendency to make extreme face-based trait inferences. The results supported such tendency by showing that across seven traits, those who made extreme face-based inferences about one trait (e.g., trustworthiness) were likely to make extreme inferences about others (e.g., dominance).
