'at Least You're Not Neurotypical': Social Barriers to Mental Health at Elite U.S. Universities

Three hundred and eighty-four Oberlin students were surveyed and fifty students interviewed to find out if there is an over-normalization of mental illness and a romanticization of mental illness on campus. My results support my hypothesis that the subculture on campus incentivizes students to prioritize their self-image over mental health.
