Emotional Experiences in Vulnerable and Grandiose Narcissism: Anger and Mood in Anger Evoking Situations

In two independent experimental studies we examined the relationship between two forms of narcissism, anger and mood. In Study 1 anger was evoked with memories, whereas in Study 2, by ego-threat. We did not observe increased reactions of narcissists, despite successful manipulation check.
