Abstract
A growth mindset can increase self-efficacy and academic performance (Dweck, 2006). The present study predicted that remedial math students exposed to a growth mindset intervention would display increased self-efficacy and performance, as compared to controls. Descriptively, results were in the predicted direction and warrant further investigation into growth mindset interventions.
