Abstract

The present study examined the association between valuing happiness and various indices of well-being in a collectivist context (i.e., Philippines) through a three-wave cross-lagged panel design. Contrary to what has been found in Western cultural contexts, valuing happiness may be linked to well-being outcomes in a collectivist setting.
