Paying Someone Else to Do Your Job: Individual, Contextual, and Situational Differences in Those Who Buy Time and Those Who Do Not

Abstract

The concept of buying time is measured in terms of individual, contextual and situational variables using survey methodology. Analyses show large effect significant differences between those who buy time and those who do not. Findings will inform work-life balance research in both Occupational Health IO Psychology and Behavioral Economics.
