Abstract

Analyses of twitter data defined by shared hashtags provide unique insights into a variety of political and psychological issues. Our work shows how the lexical diversity of emotional and embodiment words in tweets varies by pronoun. Further, the interaction of pronoun choice with event characteristics reflects the tendency for self-disclosure.
