Everyday Heroes: Characteristics and Perceptions of Super Agents
People are capable of extraordinary greatness: strangers donate kidneys, adults devote their lives to caregiving, doctors spend hours on heroic surgeries. Here, we present nationally representative data on perceptions of doctors, surveys from full-time spousal caregivers, and scanning data of kidney donors to explore neurocognitive and psychological bases of super-agents.
