Will borrowing approaches from substance use research help researchers and clinicians understand, diagnose, and treat problematic eating behavior? Speakers will discuss research that documents the overlapping psychological processes and neurobiological vulnerabilities for problematic eating behavior and substance use, and research that highlights potential mechanisms-focused intervention for problematic eating behavior.
