The Network Structure of Psychological Science: History, Subfields, and Borderlands

Friday, May 24, 2019 · Washington, DC

Oral · General

Psychology is an empirical discipline, yet our understanding of its structure is driven by anecdote and tradition. In the proposed symposium, four papers examine psychology empirically, using network/bibliometric methods and visualizations to systematically explore social-personality and political psychologies, psychology and educational research, and our history of statistical (mal-)practice.
