Measuring Movements, Measuring Minds: How Body Movements Reveal Psychological Processes.

Friday, May 24, 2019 · Washington, DC

Oral · Social

Various psychological processes result in changes of body movements. Yet, body movements are not often studied in psychology. In this symposium, we introduce four methods that continuously track body movements to shed light on freezing reactions, approach-tendencies, reward processing and effort, and the temporal dynamics of goal-directed behavior.
