The Geography of Concepts: How Ideas Develop and Diverge across Cultures
Cultures rely on conceptual schema to identify, explain, and communicate experiences. Although cultures may share a common reality, the instantiation of that conceptual space varies greatly. This symposium uses lay prototype method, network theory, and experimental approaches to show how concepts relate, develop, and diverge across cultures.
