Modeling the Dynamics of Rapid Social Change

Friday, May 24, 2019 · Washington, DC

Oral · Social

We focus on understanding the rapid and often unanticipated changes in societal norms, attitudes, and values that are increasingly obvious in today’s world. The participants, representing diverse theoretical orientations, will use computational modeling to examine the common processes that underlie idiosyncratic features of different instances of rapid social change.
