Nurture Through Nature: Integrated Ways of Understanding Self-Regulation in Youth
This symposium considers the biological underpinnings of self-regulation and clarifies the mechanisms through which environments influence youth development. Presented are findings from three studies that examine different underlying biological processes as the mechanism through which familial and peer environments exert their influence on self-regulation.
