Psychology of Sustainability: A Multilevel Perspective

Friday, May 24, 2019 · Washington, DC

Oral · Social

This symposium presents cutting-edge research that examines psychological antecedents of pro-environmental action across individual, group, and cultural levels of analysis. Specifically, we show how different levels of factors such as attitudes, perceptions, group norms, and national individualism independently and jointly explain climate change mitigating behaviors and policy support.
