Integrating Perspectives on Stress Processes: The Overlapping and Unique Roles of Coping and Emotion Regulation

Stress research has not yet fully integrated coping and emotion regulation approaches. To promote a more complete understanding of stress and recovery processes, this symposium examines the overlap and distinctions between coping and emotion regulation through four studies that incorporate elements of both, highlighting their overlap and distinctive contributions.
