Future Thought in Context
The symposium highlights the interaction between context and important features of thinking about the future. Responding to an uncertain future, to the future of the collective, to promoting one’s future self, and to a foreseeable upcoming ending has powerful consequences for content, structure, valence, and the impact of future thought.
