Abstract

Research suggests cognitively stimulating activities throughout the lifespan positively predict performance on cognitive tasks in late adulthood (Wilson et al., 2003). In a clinical trial, Bingocize, correlational analyses indicated a significant correlation between cognitive stimulation at age 6 and phonemic fluency (r=0.28, p<.05) as well as inhibition (r=0.31, p<.05).
