Abstract

The present study examined the impact of relationship sensitivity and engagement on physiological synchrony during a conflict discussion between close female peer dyads. Findings revealed that relationship sensitivity and engagement differentially impacted physiological synchrony depending on whether one’s arousal was influencing or being influenced by their friend’s arousal.
