Abstract

After a stressful event, people develop symptoms of PTSD. False feedback can change these symptom rates, and how the event is remembered. Could people develop these symptoms before a future stressful event, and could feedback have similar effects? We found people experience “Pre-TSD” symptoms, but feedback had little effect.
