Abstract
Are there differences in perceived higher educational barriers and motivators among Latinas when accounting for maternal education? Qualitative responses from a sample of Latina high schoolers (N = 30) were grouped according to maternal educational level. Prevailing themes demonstrated differences among each group and highlighted distinct priorities, goals, and stressors.
