Youth Anxiety about Political News

Abstract

Caregivers (N=221) of youth ages 6 to 17 years reported on youth anxiety about political issues in the news using a measure developed based on a literature review, focus group, and expert panel. The most frequently endorsed domains of worry were the Economy, Gun Policy, Education, and the Environment.
