Abstract

We provide evidence for the hypothesized advantage of mouse tracking measures in assessing cognitive conflict. We found that mouse movement measures can capture interaction effects involving cognitive incongruency (flanker/Simon effects) and gender, trial order and congruency sequence better than traditional RT and accuracy measures.
