Abstract

Using data from 246 undergraduate students who experienced an interpersonal traumatic event, multiple regression analyses revealed that an increase of coping flexibility significantly predicted an increase of distress, which is inconsistent with previous literature. No interaction was observed between coping categories and coping flexibility on depression, PTSD, and distress.
