Abstract
Sexual abuse is associated with greater psychiatric symptomatology. The current study assessed the associations between sexual abuse and depression, with lifetime suicide attempt. Results indicated depressed individuals, but not sexually abused individuals, were significantly more at risk for having attempted suicide.
