Abstract

We examine relationships between neighborhood context, both social and physical, and forgiveness in the Ypsilanti Everyday Stress and Health study. African Americans from Moderate SES neighborhoods report higher forgiveness than lower SES African Americans or Whites. Neighborhood context is associated with forgiveness for African Americans more so than for whites.
