Combined Effect of State Affect and Gratitude on Visual Attention of Emotional Stimuli

Abstract
Results from a modified emotional Stroop task showed that negative affect significantly predicted participants’ reaction times to angry and happy faces. Furthermore, state gratitude but not positive affect moderated the relationship between negative affect and reaction time.
