Abstract

We investigated whether 15 minutes of breath counting (i.e. mindfulness) could facilitate the experience of flow above and beyond a similar control task. Our results indicate that breath counting does not facilitate flow. However, flow and mindfulness were found to be positively correlated at the trait level.
