Abstract

This study examines the robustness of correlation confidence intervals (CIs) when ρ ≠ 0 and data are non-normal. Results indicate that the Spearman and Ranked Inverse Normal were adequate across all conditions, the remaining CIs performed well across all conditions if one variable was normally distributed.
