Abstract

Heart rate variability (HRV) has been offered as a biomarker for several regulatory processes. Broader reviews have shown limitations for HRV as an index for facets of executive function. The current study collected HRV from undergraduates before three attentional regulation tasks. HRV was not significantly correlated with any performance metrics.
