Abstract

We investigated the neural correlates of antagonistic personality dysfunction in fifty-seven community adults. Antagonism on the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 was associated with reduced cortical thickness in regions involved in self-referential processing and empathy. The relationship between Antagonism and aggression was partially accounted for by thickness in the identified regions.
