Perceptions of Hate Crimes Against Transgender Women

Abstract

Women reported significantly less transphobic attitudes (Genderism and Transphobia, M = 2.9, SD = 1.57) and lower propensity towards anti-transgender violence (Gender Bashing, (M = 1.84, SD = 1.25) compared to men (Genderism and Transphobia, M = 3.48, SD = 1.46; Gender Bashing, M = 2.68, SD = 1.65).
