Abstract

The present study examined college students’ qualitative responses after experiencing an aging simulation suit, which allows an individual to experience the physical effects of aging. Content analyses revealed major themes including slowed down, heavy, restricted, and embarrassed, while many participants reported benefits including improved awareness and empathy toward older adults.
