Abstract

We collected data 23 days into the most recent government shutdown to assess the effects of White Nationalist/Supremacist (WNS) beliefs on a variety of immigration-related outcomes, from support for building “the wall” to the family-separation policy. WNS beliefs uniquely, but modestly, predicted all outcomes above and beyond demographic/theoretical control variables.
