Abstract

In this study, both young and older adults were tested with a new Delay of Gratification (DofG) paradigm. Results showed lower performance in older adults when compared to the young. In line with initial fMRI evidence, we hypothesize the presence of age-related differences in anticipatory control during value-based decision-making.
