Abstract

Parents of children with mental health and/or behavioral difficulties were surveyed in order to investigate whether the effect of parent-teacher contact on a child’s Oppositional Defiant Disorder symptoms is mediated by parental perception of children’s behavior. Regression analyses controlling for age, gender, income, and race indicated significant and complete mediation.
