Abstract
Is online education an effective and viable alternative to face-to-face education? This project evaluated the effectiveness of online education at The University of Texas at Austin by analyzing the extent to which course effectiveness varies as a function of lecture environment, comparing Synchronous Massive Online Courses to similar face-to-face courses.
